The Pelikan "Temple of Artemis" is a prestigious limited edition fountain pen released in 2006. Release as part of the "Seven Wonders of the World" series. Limited to 440 pieces, it features a palladium-plated, fluted barrel and cap resembling Ionic columns, a gold-plated capital, an engraved goddess Artemis.

The "Temple Of Artemis" is the third in Pelikan's cycle of pens "The Seven Wonders Of The World", and was released in 2006 in an edition of just 440 pens. The temple to the Greek goddess Artemis was completed in 440BC in Ephesus and considered to be the finest in the ancient world. The Pelikan pen is shaped after one of the Ionic columns of the temple, a fluted column of cap and barrel, palladium plated with the capital in gold plate and the base decorated with flowers. Open, the pen reveals an engraving of Artemis and the 18k gold nib hand-engraved with the acanthus flower.

The temple dedicated to the goddess Artemis was completed in 440 BC - 120 years it had taken the construction period. One of the biggest challenges for the former builder was the marshy ground, which they eventually secure with charcoal.

The Temple of Artemis was built in Ephesus. Ephesus is an ancient Greek city located near the modern town of Selcuk in the Izmir Province of Turkey.
