Hari ni tarikh 14 Julai. Ada dua kalendar sambutan Hari SeDunia (World Day) pada tarikh 14 Julai. 

World Day of Chimpanzee dan World Day of Orca. Chimpanzee mungkin ramai pernah dengar dan tahu. Orca rasanya tak ramai tahu. Apakah Orca?

Orca merupakan salah satu spesies ikan lumba-lumba. Ada juga mengatakan orca tergolong sebagai paus pembunuh.

Sambutan World Chimpanzee dan juga World Orca Day tidaklah dikenali sangat di negara kita. Satu sebabnya kerana Chimpanzee tak terdapat pun di Malaysia. Malah tak ada pun Chimpanzee di Asia. Kalau ada pun mungkin di Zoo sahaja.

Chimpanzee cuma ada kat Benua Afrika. Haiwan yang hidup di kawasan Savanna Afrika.

Siapa memula World Chimpanzee Day?

World Chimpanzee Day was founded by a coalition of organizations, including the Jane Goodall Institute, the North American Primate Sanctuary Alliance, Liberia Chimpanzee Rescue & Protection, and the Lincoln Park Zoo.

World Chimpanzee Day is celebrated annually on July 14 to honor humanity's closest living relative. The date marks the anniversary of Dr. Jane Goodall's arrival in Gombe Stream National Park in 1960 to begin her groundbreaking, pioneering research on wild chimpanzee populations

Sewaktu eksplorasi Antartika Edmund Hillary dan pasukan membawa bersama beberapa traktor. Ada di mana traktor itu sekarang?

Canterbury Museum: Located in Christchurch, New Zealand, this museum houses one of the three tractors that successfully reached the South Pole

MOTAT (Museum of Transport and Technology): This museum in Auckland, New Zealand, houses a second original tractor from the historic polar party

Massey Ferguson Collection: The third tractor was returned to the United Kingdom. It is currently preserved and occasionally displayed by Massey Ferguson at their corporate headquarters and museum in France

Edmund Hillary - Everest Dan Antartika

Bila sebut nama Edmund Hillary perkara yang kita ingat adalah dia merupakan pendaki pertama yang tiba di kemuncak Everest. Hillary berjaya tiba puncak Everest pada Mei 29, 1953 bersama Sherpa Tenzing Norgay. Hillary pada ketika itu berusia 33 tahun.

Selain mendaki Everest ada satu lagi kejayaan Hillary yang mungkin tak ramai tahu. Hillary pernah mengetuai pasukan eksplorasi New Zealand ke Antartika. Hillary berjaya tiba di Antartika pada Jan 3, 1958.

Manuskrip Quran Kufi Di Tashkent

Ada sebuah salinan asal mashaf Al-Quran Uthmani tersimpan di sebuah museum di Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Mushaf tersebut dibawa ke Samarkand oleh Amir Timur pada kurun ke14.

HK Declared Monuments - The Bethanie

Kalau di negara kita sesuatu bangunan lama di gazet sebagai heritage building. Pengiktirafan yang diberi oleh kerajaan melalui pihak yang berwajib. Di HK keadaannya sama sesuatu bangunan lama akan diberi pengiktirafan sebagai Declared Monuments. Salah satu bangunan yang mendapat pengiktirafan tersebut adalah The Bethanie.

Located in Pokfulam, the Béthanie was built by the Paris Foreign Missions Society (Missions Etrangères de Paris) in 1875 as a sanatorium and is now a declared monument. Almost a century later, the heritage building was taken over by the Hong Kong Government and leased to the University of Hong Kong from 1978 to 1997. In March 2003, the Legislative Council approved capital works funds for The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts to restore the Béthanie and two neighbouring Dairy Farm cowsheds as its associated campus, housing training facilities for the School of Film and Television of the Academy. The restoration was completed in November 2006. The Béthanie was also awarded an Honourable Mention at the 2008 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Cultural Heritage Awards.
