Malaysia issued a special stamp collection in 2020 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee (50th Anniversary) of the Rukun Negara (National Principles). The national philosophy was officially proclaimed on August 31, 1970, to foster unity following the tragic May 13, 1969 racial riots.
