The "50 Years of Malaysia's First City - Kuala Lumpur" stamp was issued by Pos Malaysia on July 7, 2022, to celebrate the golden jubilee of Kuala Lumpur becoming a city. On February 1, 1972, Kuala Lumpur made history by officially becoming the first settlement in Malaysia to be granted city status.
