Perpustakaan Negara Egypt / National Library of Egypt (NLE) turut menyimpan beberapa naskhah / manuskrip Quran yang ditulis pada period awal iaitu ketika zaman Khalifah Usman.
The library is an ancient institution that was founded by the Khedive Ismail Pasha in 1870. It is also an inaccessible dream for researchers and historians in search of early manuscripts of the Quran.
The Mamluk Qur'an manuscript collection of NLE is of national and global importance: it is the largest in the world; the manuscripts are almost unmatched for splendour, opulence, and size in the history of the Islamic arts of the book. [source: unesco - link].
