The 2008 Malaysian stamp commemorating the Centenary Celebration of the Scouts Association of Malaysia (Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia) was issued to honor the 100th anniversary of the Scouting movement's arrival in the country, which traces its roots back to the establishment of the first troop in Penang in 1908.
