Malaysia issued a special commemorative stamp on November 25, 2006, to celebrate hosting the 9th FESPIC Games (Far East and South Pacific Games for the Disabled) in Kuala Lumpur. The issue served to mark the historic multi-sport event, which was the final edition of the games before they were succeeded by the Asian Para Games.
