The Malaysian "South Pole Expedition" stamp was issued on December 28, 2006, by Pos Malaysia to commemorate the historic Malaysia-China joint expedition to the South Pole.
Malaysia's presence in Antarctica has grown significantly over the years, marked by researchers conducting climate change studies alongside international institutions, as well as independent Malaysian adventurers completing the "last degree" ski trek to the geographic South Pole.
