The 2017 "150 Years of Straits Settlements Stamps" were issued to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the region's first independent postage stamps. Issued jointly with Singapore Post, the collection commemorates the 1867 shift when the Straits Settlements became a British Crown Colony and began issuing their own overprinted stamps.
