Azerbaijan - Walk in Space Anniversary

A Soviet cosmonaut - Alexei Leonov, became the first human to ever walk in the vacuum of space. He braved 10 minute outside the Voshkod 2 spacecraft which was recognized as the first walk in space on March 18, 1965. Azerbaijan - 40th Anniversary of First Walk in Space (2005)

A commemorative stamp to honor the 40th anniversary of first walk in space was issued by Azerbaijan postal authority. The stamp was launched on June 1, 2005.
